Candyman 2020 is really just called Candyman, and in a similar vein to the 2019 Hellboy reboot, they’ve just used the same name rather than try and distinguish it in any way. I absolutely HATE that was a passion… It really screws things up for SEO on a website, hence my renaming it Candyman 2020.
However, it still declares itself as a”spiritual sequel” to the 1992 horror film ‘Candyman‘ that returns to the now-gentrified Chicago neighbourhood where the legend began… and it looks as terrible an idea as it sounds
Candyman 2020 is released in the UK on June 12th.
