Aquaman – CENSORED from a 15-cert to a 12-cert in the UK

AquamanAquaman – the man-fish film, has been CENSORED from a 15-cert to a 12-cert in the UK. The BBFC info is as follows, but while they weedle out of it, claiming it’s not a cut, ask yourself this:

    1. Is it the intended movie? NO!
    2. Has it been edited? YES!
    3. Has it been done to bring down the certificate? YES!

Then it’s a fucking cut. Don’t beat about the damn bush!

The info from the BBFC is as follows:

Aquaman was first shown to us recently onscreen with Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, who learns that he is the heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, and must step forward to lead his people and to be a hero to the world.

I did enjoy Justice League – whereas most people didn’t, but I don’t particularly care for an Aquaman origins movie.

However, this is also out in the same week as Mortal Engines, which Peter Jackson has had a hand in. I know which one I’d like to see in IMAX!

Aquaman is released in the UK on December 14th, which is a week before the US get it.
