Don Verdean stars Sam Rockwell in the title role as a self-proclaimed Biblical archaeologist, hired by an ambitious small-town pastor to find sacred relics in the Holy Land.
He comes up short and his attempt to cover up his failure fuels a comic conspiracy from the same filmmakers as Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre.
The film also stars Amy Ryan (Birdman, The Wire), plus Jemaine Clement, Leslie Bibb, Will Forte and Danny McBride.
Don Verdean is released in the US on December 11th, but hasn’t yet got a UK date. However, I really want to see this when it’s out as it looks like we might just be able to forgive Rockwell post-Poltergeist 2015!
