Dreams is a new PS4 exclusive from Media Molecule, the creators of Little Big Planet and Tearaway Unfolded, the latter of which has aspects of LBP in terms of customisation, as you might expect, but gives a unique landscape in the process.
In Dreams, you experience the dreams and imagination of other PS4 owners. It’s been described as like a ‘living painting’, where sketch collaboratively with others online. Media Molecule have focused on making it quick, intuitive and rewarding, and huge pictures can be created in moments and then manipulated with ease.
They confirmed they’ve been developing this over the past four years, and the demo was set to a rock guitar version of “Row, row, row your boat” since the last line is “Life is but a dream“. However, that song also reminds me of the bad guy in Dirty Harry…
Alas, a release date is not yet known but we’re told that more will be revealed during Paris Games Week in October.
