Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends Complete Edition follows last year’s release of Dynasty Warriors 8 on both PS3 and Xbox 360, and this new edition is released on April 4th on both PS3 and PS4 with a PC version due out on May 23rd.
The story is based on the Chinese writer Luo Guanzhong’s historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Having more than 82 characters featured in the game, DS8 largely based its system from Dynasty Warriors 7 and instead focused on adding more content for replayability as well as several tweaks in the combat system.
