Eastenders Live – it gives you the impression that the episodes this week will be live. But only parts of them are. Even tonight’s hour-long episode was implied that it’d be a full live show, but it’s just the occasional scene like with Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s episodes. They’ve done full live episodes before, so why cop out for the 30th anniversary episodes?
However, yesterday, following Jo Joyner (as Tanya) saying to Laurie Brett (as Jane), “How’s Adam?”, when she meant actor Adam Woodyatt‘s character name, Ian, Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins (right) recreated the very scene this afternoon.
Mel and Sue‘s final episode of the current series is on ITV tomorrow at 4pm and I hope it returns for a second series as it’s been fantastic, and a breath of fresh air amongst the rather stale chatshows that ITV have the rest of the afternoon.
