Final Fantasy X is the classic role-playing game released in July 2001 for the PS2.
Set in the fantasy world of Spira, the story revolves around a group of adventurers and their quest to defeat a rampaging monster known as Sin. The player, Tidus, is a blitzball star who finds himself in Spira after his home city of Zanarkand is destroyed by Sin. Shortly after arriving to Spira, Tidus joins the summoner Yuna on her pilgrimage to destroy Sin.
Final Fantasy X was a hit with both critics and the public, selling over 6.6 million copies around the world. March 2003 saw the release of Final Fantasy X-2, making it the first Final Fantasy game to have a direct game sequel.
Now, the games have been remastered in HD and will be released on the PS3 on a single Blu-ray disc, with a collector’s edition also including a 40-page booklet containing glorious images as well as a soundtrack Blu-ray disc with over 6 hours of music.
