Half-Life: Alyx is something we’ve kinda been waiting a long time for, especially since we’ve not had a new Half Life game come out between 2007’s Half Life 2 Episode 2, but this one is… a VR game only.
Now, I love VR when it’s done well, so it could work, but I don’t have any hand controllers for the Oculus Rift. I do have a PSVR unit, but… not with Move controllers. Why can’t Sony make those available at an affordable price? Bah, I wish I’d got those when they were a quid each on Ebay when no-one wanted them.
Synopsis:Set between the events of Half-Life and Half-Life 2, Alyx Vance and her father Eli discover a secret that leads them into the heart of the Combine’s occupation of City 17.
As Alyx, give humanity its last chance for survival.
