Impulsive – a short film from Adam Probets

Impulsive Impulsive is an engaging short film co-written by Adam Probets (Five Pillars), who also takes the lead role of David Mason.

Centered around David, after the accidental death of his brother, indirectly, two of his best mates organise the annual ‘lads’ camping trip. However, things don’t quite go to plan. An unexpected situation is looming in the dark and a serious event stirs the night up…

Adam (right) says about the film: “I am particularly strong minded regarding social issues across our nation, or even the world. I decided, last year, to write something that would grip viewers and *hopefully* send out a message that when we act within an impulse state of mind, we have no control and we never think of the consequences.

Impulsive was done with a crew of 5 and a cast of around 13. No one was paid and it was all done voluntarily. We are very pleased with the outcome, considering less than £150 was spent across the board, although it just makes me think what I could do with a bigger budget.”
