Incarnate, Devil Incarnate… in case I had to explain it, but the fact I might’ve had to might show how bad this film could be.
Aaron Eckhart takes the lead as Dr. Seth Ember, a scientist who avoids exorcisms by having the ability to enter the subconscious minds of the possessed, and in this film, he must save a young boy from the grips of a demon with powers never seen before, while facing the horrors of his past… but for a film from the producers of Insidious and The Visit, this looks very average at best.
Directed by Brad Peyton (San Andreas), from a script by Ronnie Christensen, the film also stars Carice van Houten, David Mazouz, Catalina Sandino Moreno and Emjay Anthony, Incarnate is out now in the US but as of yet there’s no UK date. Don’t hold your breath.
