Jim and Andy: The Great Beyond is a new Netflix documentary which takes a behind-the-scenes look at how Jim Carrey adopted the persona of idiosyncratic comedian Andy Kaufman on the set of 1999’s Man on the Moon, directed by Milos Forman.
I still haven’t seen Man on the Moon, so I really should do before watching this documentary, although I do remember Andy Kaufman in Taxi, which was around in my formative years.
The documentary also features Danny DeVito, Milos Forman and Judd Hirsch as themselves.
Jim and Andy: The Great Beyond is released on Netflix in the US on November 17th, so presumably will be the same date in the UK.
Note that the full title is: Jim and Andy: The Great Beyond – The Story of Jim Carrey and Andy Kaufman Featuring a Very Special, Contractually Obligated Mention of Tony Clifton.
