Little Friends: Puppy Island is a cute game out now on PC and various consoles where there’s always new puppies to train, which you come across in Friendly Forest.
Put them through their paces by taking them for walks and building up their speed and agility; and there’s always new buildings to be constructed, such as a shop and a Ranger Station. However, I presume this city has full employment for adults, since how come the dogs are brought in to build things?
Meanwhile, there’s bones and presents to dig up – the latter sometimes including on-trend new outfits, you have to ensure they’re fed and taken care of, but at least when they need to pay a visit, you don’t have to clear up their poop. Phew!
All that said, it is odd that you’re simply taking home random strays in the forest. Surely their owners will want to know where they’ve gone? I think the police might take a dim view of that.
As you’ll see from the 7 gameplay videos I’ve uploaded in 4K, it’s quite fun, but also very samey, indeed. Of course, it’s aimed at children, though, who’ll love it, I’m sure, and won’t give a thought to the apparent theft of canines.
My only issue with this game, though, is that there’s no option to invert the Y-axis? That does make it a pain to control your movements.
