Lovebirds is one of those American comedies where you can tell just how it’s going to go based on the trailer alone.
Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick) and Issa Rae star as… well, it doesn’t really matter, but they’re the titular lovebirds who are driving along when their car is hijacked by a man who uses it to kill another man, absconds and then… these two are the prime suspects.
Can they clear their names and solve the case? Will you care? I doubt it.
Lovebirds is released in the UK on April 24th.
