Mission Impossible Rogue Nation is out this week on Blu-ray and DVD, and to celebrate it, commuters and passersby were given the chance to relive the incredible opening scene from the worldwide blockbuster film, by participating in a virtual reality experience at London’s Victoria Station.
Pop on an Oculus Rift headset (so damn good with the game Push For Emor) and you could’ve been one of the onlookers strapped in to a harness and hoisted in to the air, grabbing the side of an airplane structure with a wind machine blowing at them full force. Passersby got to experience this scene where Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) clings on to the side of an aircraft as it takes off from the runway.
Check out our Mission Impossible Rogue Nation cinema review, and you can also indulge in all five Mission Impossible films on Blu-ray for a mere £22.49!
Filmed by JCDecaux, catch commuters in action as they experience the adrenaline of what it’s like to be Ethan Hunt for a day. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to check out the video below, and click on the top image for the full-size version…
