Of this week’s highlights and lowlights…This week, since there’s no new entries all the Top 40 are just shifting aboutso there’s only one tune of note.
1 (2) Chef – Chocolate Salty Balls (PS. I Love You) * !!! *1st Week at No.1*This is the single from South Park’s Chef, aka soul star Isaac Hayes.Yes it’s a novelty record and I don’t really like South Park, but you can’tbeat a bit of groovy funk, especially amongst all the insipid Xmas rubbish.
Now this has climbed to the top slot, it breaks the ridiculous 17-strong runof new singles going straight into the top slot.
