Climbing to No.1 in the UK Top 100 Music Chart is Pharrell with Happy and it’s a much more deserving top-slot track than the X-Factor! However, given that Simon Cowell gave away all the profits to charity, that clearly swung it for the Xmas No.1.

As such, X-Factor winner Sam Bailey drops to No.2 with ‘Barrel scraper’, I mean, Skyscraper. No, I was right the first time.

There’s nothing else to get excited about in the charts as there’s only one newish track climbing into the Top 40.
