Pay day is here and there are 3 more films for your potential delight and delictation out this weekend, but are any of them any good? The films this week are Non-Stop, The Book Thief and Ride Along.
Non-Stop
Air marshal Bill Marks (Liam Neeson) springs into action during a transatlantic flight after receiving a series of text messages that put his fellow passengers at risk unless the airline transfers $150 million into an off-shore account.
Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, this dross also stars Julianne Moore, Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years A Slave), Scoot McNairy, Michelle Dockery and Linus Roache, and is out this Friday, but I strongly advise against it. It looks like typical Liam Neeson 12A-action fluff, which is one of many things that did for Taken 2, and he’s clearly becoming very lazy in the last few years.

The Book Thief
Based on the beloved bestselling book, The Book Thief tells the story of a spirited and courageous young girl (Sophie Nélisse) who transforms the lives of everyone around her when she is sent to live with a foster family in World War II Germany.
Directed by Brian Percival, and starring Geoffrey Rush and Emily Watson, I know this has sights on being all big and clever, but it looks as dull as ditchwater to me.

Ride Along
In Ride Along, fast-talking security guard Ben (Kevin Hart) joins his cop brother-in-law James (Ice Cube) on a 24-hour patrol of Atlanta in order to prove himself worthy of marrying James’ sister, Angela (Tika Sumpter).
Two other people who’ve got nothing better to do other than appear in what looks like a terrible film – and a child-friendly 12A at that – are John Leguizamo and Laurence Fishburne. Yep, avoid this one.
