Released by Path‚ Distribution Limited, Human Nature boasts an all-starcast including Tim Robbins, Patricia Arquette and Rhys Ifans.

Nathan (Tim Robbins, The Shawshank Redemption, Arlington Road) is a mild manneredscientist with an ambitious mission. After enduring a strange upbringing due tohis parent’s obsession with social etiquette, he becomes in turn obsessed withconducting experiments to teach mice table manners! When Lila (Patricia Arquette,Stigmata, True Romance) another victim of an unhappy past, with a darksecret comes into his life, he falls in love.

Together they discover a man (Rhys Ifans, Notting Hill, The 51st State) whohas been living alone in the wilds since childhood. Overriding Lila’sobjections, Nathan takes him back to his lab to teach him about manners,culture and etiquette, with Nathan’s definition of civilisation being “Whenin doubt, don’t do what you really want to do”!

But things get more complicated when Nathan’s fetching French assistant, MirandaOtto (Lord of the Rings:The Two Towers) tries to snare him into romance,and the consequences are hilarious and unexpected!

The first feature film from highly acclaimed visionary director Michel Gondry,who has previously directed videos for Bjork, Kylie Minogue and Massive Attack,Human Nature was written by Charlie Kaufman, author of the critically acclaimedfilms Being John Malkovich and Adaptation. Michel Gondry and Charlie Kaufmanhave since collaborated on The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind starringJim Carrey, Kate Winslet and Elijah Wood.

Special features on the DVD include a commentary by director Michel Gondry, afeaturette about the making of the film, and 10 weird and wonderful teasertrailers.

An outrageously funny examination of three characters at war with their sexualnatures, this eccentric yet intelligent film is a must see!
