Put yourself up for the ultimate Buffy test. Answer the questions below todiscover if you could really fight the vampires by night and kick butt withthe demons by day.

In the episode Potential Buffy states that the following qualitiesare essential for a slayer to be successful; STRENGTH, SPEED, TO PLAY BY THERULES, TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS and MAKE A FIGHT YOUR OWN. A slayer must put allthis qualities in to one mechanic. “The vampire wants to kill you. To win youmust understand his instincts, but ALWAYS trust your own?”

If you answered no to any of the questions above you are not worthy!
If you answered yes to all you are eligible to try out to be a slayer.(Yeah, right, who do you think you’re kidding?!)

With Giles and the new potential slayers in Sunydale, Buffy and Spike set upa boot camp to train and test the possible superheroes. The young girls havea lot to live up to and the most evil presence to hit Sunnydale to fight.This mega demon is known as The First.

This is a season for forgiving and forgetting as Buffy has relinquished hertrust in Spike and found a space in the Scooby gang for ex-villain Jonathan.Meanwhile Anya and Xander are friends again, with perhaps more than a sparkin the air?

Willow has returned and although is limited to how much she is allowed to getinvolved in, is back in favour with the group. The Scoobies are in need of allthe help they can get with the BIGGEST demon battle they’ve ever had to face.

The new slayers, The Potentials, have a hard time. Buffy and the gang areconstantly finding their bodies in very suspicious circumstances. What is sogreat that can cause such devastation?

With the return of Faith and Angel, the finale goes out with a blast! Whatwill become of Buffy Summers and the Scooby gang? The final Buffy VHS releaseis a must buy for any fan, but get the tissues ready for the momentous ending!

ANGEL IS BAD!

It’s the middle of the fourth series and Angel is bad! Angel has returned toAngelus, the terrifying vampire that once murdered and cared for no one in thefinal half of the fourth season of Buffy’s sister series Angel released onvideo on 8th September from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.

Even dissing his long love Cordelia, the first episode of this Angel boxsetsees violence and death, and marks an eagerly anticipated death – the murderof Lilah (Stephanie Romanov)! After a dramatic chase Angelus kills her andproceeds to feed off the body!

Faith (Eliza Dushku) returns with Wesley (Alexis Denisof) in this half ofseason 4 and in proper Faith style, there is some kick ass action as soon asshe meets Angelus. Faith as a vampire slayer is brought back to stop Angelusas despite Lorne’s (Andy Hallett) spell attempts to stop Angelus from killing,Angelus is still on the rampage to hunt humans and drink blood!

The “Faith and Angelus duel” continues until Faith is almost dead! There isonly one witch that can save the day – Willow comes to visit! She performs aspell to remove the evil soul of Angelus and despite Cordy’s attempts tooverride the spell, Angelus is killed and Angel returns to the gang. WhenFaith comes round, Willow tells her of the awful problems taking place inSunnydale and the presence of The First. The reformed Slayer leaveswith Willow to help Buffy and the Scooby gang. As Faith finds a softer sideto her nature in this series. Could she be the new Buffy Summers?

Meanwhile, Angel’s son Conner has vowed to kill his evil father, but his plansare put on hold when his father’s girlfriend, Cordy tells him that he is thefather of his child! When Angel returns, Cordy finally tells the rest of thegang about her pregnancy. They begin to research to find out what kind ofdemon it will be.

This is a season of swapping roles. Angel returns to his evil vampire Angelusat the same time behind the scenes Cordy’s evil side is festering and gettingstronger. Conner’s ever evil tendencies get worse as he believes that he isthe father to Cordy’s baby. Are these events from the dark side all related?

As Angel gets darker, the series gets sassier! This boxset is not to missedwith visitors from Buffy, the synergy between the stories of Sunnydale andthat of Los Angeles couldn’t be clearer. As Angel visits Buffy at the end ofseries 7 he realises that there is another vampire with a soul: Spike. BuffySeason 7.2 and Angel 4.2 set up a friendship between these like-minded vampires.Who knows what the future may hold for these two fangtastic characters inAngel Season 5??
