2C: The Official PlayStation Event

A new dawn in lifestyle festivals emerges between May 4th-6th, when 2C:The Official PlayStation Event opens its doors.

Encapsulating gaming, music, urban sports and film, 2C: The OfficialPlayStation Event has been conceived and produced by 2Converge Limited toencapsulate key aspects of the PlayStation lifestyle. As such, the 35,000capacity site in Gunnersbury Park, West London, offers challenging, emotive,innovative entertainment experiences.

2C: The Official PlayStation Event will feature the largest sculpturalfree sports arenas ever produced for a UK festival, with a capacity to houseapproximately 5000 spectators and a rolling programme of skateboarding/BMX/dirtbike demos. As well as a big money pro skate competition there will be dailycompetitions to win cash prizes Music will be provided by a professional DJcrew for the duration of the event. Breakdancing sessions from some of theworld’s best crews and street art demos by top UK artists.

Musically 2C: The Official PlayStation Event will provide something foreveryone with an open air stage for live acts both established and up andcoming and a mix arena with celebrated DJ’s from major labels with stylesranging from house and garage to hip hop and scratch. Both areas will havestate of the art sound and visual systems.

2C: The Official PlayStation Event will also feature a huge screen cinema witha capacity of 3000, showing a mixture of cutting edge films, documentaries,directors cuts, video shorts, musicpromos and free sports clips throughoutthe event.

2C: The Official PlayStation Event games challenge arena will house showcasesfrom top PlayStation games publishers, a chance to revisit the classics,preview future releases and play the top titles of 2002. Visitors will be ableto go head to head to win top prizes. The festival will also feature 3000capacity bars and a market area.
