Southbound comes from the makers of the V/H/S horror trilogy and encompasses five interlocking tales of terror, following the fates of a group of weary travellers who confront their worst nightmares – and darkest secrets – over one long night on a desolate stretch of desert highway… and it looks not half bad.
Of course, it’s in no way original, but it looks like there’s enough in it to warrant the time spent watching it.
Starring Dana Gould, Kate Beahan, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Susan Burke, Zoe Cooper and Gerald Downey, yes, you’ve heard of none of them but that doesn’t really matter and I’ll definitely check this out.
Southbound is released in the US on February 9th, but as of yet there’s no UK date.
