Star Trek is returning to TV, and while it’s separate from the rebooted films, it makes you question whether those rebooted films are worth it because, so far, they really don’t work for me, with Chris Pine being the most wooden actor ever (pun not intended)
It’s been created by Bryan Fuller for CBS All Access, and is the first series produced especially for that service It’s also the first Trek series since Enterprise was cancelled in 2005. The first episode will air on CBS before moving to the aforementioned All Access, and will introduce new characters, enemies and worlds to the Star Trek franchise.
Star Trek airs in January 2017 and the exact details have yet to be confirmed.
