The Death And Life of John F Donovan begins a decade after the death of an American TV star, as a young actor reminisces the written correspondence he shared with him, as well as the impact those letters had on both their lives.
At first, I wasn’t really sure what to make of this film based on the trailer, but after finding out it comes from writer/director Xavier Dolan, whose Mommy was incredible, and even though I didn’t really get It’s Only The End Of The World, I do want to check this out. It’s also got a great cast, too.
The Death And Life of John F Donovan doesn’t yet have a UK or US release date.
