The End of the Tour stars The Social Network‘s Jesse Eisenberg as magazine reporter David Lipsky, who recounts his travels and conversations with author David Foster Wallace (Jason Segel) during a promotional book tour.
Also starring Ron Livingston, Anna Chlumsky, Mamie Gummer and, for some reason, Joan Cusack, this looks like a decent comedy/drama which is more drama but with some subtle comic moments thrown in, so it’s not a typical nonsense comedy that Segel is best known for.
The End of the Tour is released in the US on July 31st, but doesn’t yet have a UK date.
