Following on from The Wider World Of Atari, today, we get into the gameplay of each of the 19 games in the additional content for Atari 50’s The First Console War. Again, rather than just have one minute per game, I’ve let it spread out for all the games, so it runs for approximately 61 minutes in total, and I’ll love everyone who watches the entire video!
My favourites included Air Raiders – which I attempted a few times before the gameplay video that you actually see here, Desert Falcon would be great fun if I got more of a hang on it, Hardball would be one to go back to again and again, but I had no idea what was going on in the Baseball and Football games.
Plus, somehow, I completed Tower of Mystery, when I had no idea what I was doing!
Also, back in the day, I played Video Pinball forever, even managing to find a place for the ball to bounce on and on, so I could leave it overnight and pick up again the next day, since there’s no pause option.
Each game is followed by their instruction manual/flyer.
