The Forgiven looks like a great drama with Forest Whitaker as Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and after the end of Apartheid, he meets with a brutal murderer seeking redemption, Piet Blomfeld, played by Eric Bana.
The film is directed by Roland Joffé, who has co-written it with Michael Ashton, and it also stars Jeff Gum, Morné Visser, Terry Norton, Rob Gough, Debbie Sherman and Warrick Grier.
The Forgiven is released in the US on March 9th, but as of yet, it hasn’t got a UK release date. I am looking forward to it, however.
