The Riot Club bills itself as a thriller in which two first-year students at Oxford University join the infamous Riot Club, where reputations can be made or destroyed over the course of a single evening.
It has a great cast in Sam Claflin, Max Irons, Natalie Dormer, Jessica Brown Findlay, Holliday Grainger, Douglas Booth, Tom Hollander and Sam Reid, but to me it seems too much like a posh boys’ outing, and a film with no trills at all.
The Riot Club is out in the UK on September 19th.
