UK Top 100 Music chart summary & my views w/e November 1st 2014

November 1st 2014Staying at No.1, in the UK Top 100 Music Chart w/e November 1st 2014, is Meghan Trainor with All About That Bass. Please, someone, tell me – this ‘song’ is a joke, yes?

There are two Top 10 new entries: Waze & Odyssey vs. R. Kelly at No.3 Bump & Grind 2014, as if we really needed a follow-up(!), and then at No.9, 1 Fuse ODG feat. Angel with T.I.N.A.

And there’s a re-entry at No.40 for Clean Bandit feat. Jess Glynne with Rather Be, thanks to it being featured in a TV advert, the product of which I’ve completely forgotten… but who cares about the product. The tune is top!

Thankfully, the BBC’s self-congratulatory back-slipping “God Only Knows” shite drops from No.38 to No.60.
