UK Top 100 Music chart summary: w/e July 20th 2013

Climbing back to No.1 in the UK Top 100 Music chart is the godawful Robin Thicke with Blurred Lines and it was bad enough first time round.

I’m not playing that again, so instead, I’m going back to a late 80s classic, Big Pig‘s I Can’t Break AWay, which I was reminded of as the opening theme to Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, which I rewatched this weekend after ITV broadcast it in the correct ratio for a change!

You can see the video here:

As such, John Newman drops to No.2 with Love Me Again, and it gets better after the ridiculously tedious first minute, when it breaks into the chorus, but this guy has got one of the worst ‘singing’ voices I’ve ever heard. Oh well, at least the girl in the video is cute, although it has a stupid ending.

  • 3 Sebastian Ingrosso, Tommy Trash & John Martin – Reload
  • 6 Lawson Feat. B.o.B – Brokenhearted
