The 2014 Oscars, aka the 86th Academy Awards, will take place on March 2nd, 2014, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The ceremony is scheduled one week later than usual to avoid conflicting with the 2014 Winter Olympics, and Ellen DeGeneres will host the show for the second time, following the 79th Academy Awards in 2007.
