Elton John and Michael Caine star in NHS COVID19 vaccine advert

Elton John Elton John and Michael Caine have teamed-up (separately) to star in a new advert to recommend that everyone gets the NHS COVID19 vaccine ad when it’s offered to them.

Once all the over 70s have been vaccinated, the task turns to anyone from 50-70, along with anyone that has an underlying health condition (like myself with my aortic valve replacement). After that, it’ll go to those under 50.

As much as I want the pubs, bars and nightclubs open ASAP, I know it’s not going to happen overnight, so it’s time to stop being a complete dick by arguing with staff and security in the supermarket, and get the vaccine when it’s offered to you. Yes, it’s not going to be 100% perfect, and we’re likely to need annual booster shots like with the flu, but – and speaking as someone whose mother died from COVID19 last Wednesday – just get it done and stop showing off.

In this advert, Elton John ‘auditions’ for getting a vaccine, while the jab job ultimate goes to Michael Caine, as the voiceover summarises, “Let the little fella know he didn’t get the job” 😉
