Final Girl is a psychological thriller which centres around a beautiful teen girl, Veronica (Abigail Breslin, right), new to town, who is lured out to the woods by a group of senior boys to be the victim in their final initiation. And… it’s been just over a year since I first posted a trailer for this movie and it STILL hasn’t been released!
Taught by her trainer, William, to be a lethal weapon, she turns the hunters into the hunted with a level of perversity far beyond anything they could have ever imagined.
Final Girl is directed by Tyler Shields, it also stars Alexander Ludwig, Francesca Eastwood, Wes Bentley, Cameron Bright, Reece Thompson and Logan Huffman, and unfortunately still doesn’t have a UK release date yet, but certainly looks worth a watch when it does. The USA get it on August 14th, however.
That said, the fact we now have a UK trailer will hopefully indicate that a release date is imminent.
