GTA V – PC, PS4 and Xbox One – “First Person Experience” video and PS3 vs PS4 comparisons

GTA V is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One very soon, and today two new videos have been made available.

First Person Experience! That’s the first new aspect to discover and it’ll only be available in the next-gen versions of GTA V. This new mode shows players the host of changes made to the game to accommodate this new perspective, including the creation of an optional first person cover system, a new targeting system, a more traditional FPS control scheme, and integrating thousands of new animations into the existing game. It’s also available at the touch of a button so you can easily switch back and forth between perspectives.

This mode will also be available in both GTAV and GTA Online, and there’s more info about the new game here, and don’t forget that the game plays in 1080p resolution at 30FPS on PS4 and Xbox One, with 4K compatibility on PC.

A new video has also been released, which shows the extensive enhancements made to GTA V in its transition from PS3 to PS4. Rockstar Games have confirmed that the PS4, Xbox One and PC have given them the chance to harness the power of these platforms to improve every aspect of the game. This means big technical changes like increasing the overall resolution and more than doubling the draw distance, as well as replacing every texture in the game and much more.

While I don’t have a PS4 or Xbox One, I can’t wait to see how this looks on the PC on my 50″ telly! 🙂

GTA V is released on Xbox One and PS4 November 18th, 2014 and on PC January 27th, 2015.
