I Am Wrath centres around Stanley Hill (John Travolta), a man who is out for justice after a group of corrupt police officers are unable to catch the killer of his wife, Vivian (Rebecca De Mornay). It looks a reasonably decent film for something that’s going straight to video (well, Blu-ray, DVD and download), and also stars Amanda Schull and Christopher Meloni, it’s written by Yvan Gauthier and Paul Sloan, and is directed by Chuck Russell (Eraser, The Scorpion King).
However, originally the film was set to be directed by William Friedkin, and with Nicolas Cage in the lead, but Cage makes enough films, especially daft actioners like this!
I Am Wrath is out in the US on April 29th, with a UK Blu-ray and DVD release date of May 16th.
