Immaculate – The DVDfever Cinema Review – Sydney Sweeney

Immaculate Immaculate sees Sister Cecilia (Sydney SweeneyMadame Web) rocking up at a new convent to start her term of endurance, this coming after an initial scene that will rather point out why she’s making a boo-boo.

However, she reveals how she almost died as a child under some ice, so feels God saved her for a reason. Well, she’s going to regret coming here, because amongst all the jump scares and weird shit happening, it doesn’t take long to discover every single individual is batshit mental!

And that’s before we get to see all the nutty Nuns in the psych ward!

As luck would have it, Cecilia becomes pregnant ‘without sin’, hence we have the immaculate conception. However, once she realises she’s made a mistake in arriving, and the others figure out that she wants to leave, they don’t take it lightly. So, she’ll be a Nun On The Run! That reminds me of a film from a while back…

Immaculate features some very gross scenes, but every old trope in the book, and pretty much nothing we’ve not seen before. Particularly stupid was…

Spoiler Inside SelectShow

Most men are clearly only going to see this so they can catch a glimpse of Sydney Sweeney’s wimple, but it comes to something when this film is even worse than her recent offering of Madame Web!

Still, at least this is only 89 minutes long. And for that, may the Lord make us truly thankful.

Immaculate is in cinemas now, but isn’t yet available to pre-order on Blu-ray or DVD. However, once announced, it will appear on the New DVD Blu-ray 3D and 4K releases UK list.
