news page picNext major DVDfever.co.uk update on January 5th 2004…

Ok, since most other places seem to shut down over the two-week Xmas period,I’m doing the same. Time for a well-deserved break, methinks.

However, I will still update the music charts inbetween so check back forthose on the Monday, especially since this weekend will reveal the Xmas No.1.

Looking back on 2003, some things have been achieved with our help, such asgetting the problem fixed ITV1 for those watching via Sky(See the Granada TV Issues page),and the help of websites likeLogoFreeTV.orgwhich has led toSky OneandChannel 4removing the red dot as a constant onscreen presence.

On a plus side also,BBC Threedon’t use their channel logo all the time, removing it for certain dramas andcomedies, as well as films, and BBC Four are more selective about its usetoo. Just a shame that UK Gold continue to be pig-ignorant about reddots and their bloody “7 Days To Go Until… (more repeats)”. KatieBarnard – hang your head in shame!

Until January, I wish everyone apart from her a Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!
