Skull and Bones is coming some time in 2019, and was previously announced at E3 2017.
It is the Golden Age of Piracy. Renegade captains command the most powerful weapons on Earth: warships. You are a pirate captain who has refused the king’s pardon and sailed from the Caribbean to the Indian Ocean, an untamed frontier full of lavish riches. However, these waters are also a battleground where far-reaching colonial empires, powerful trading corporations, and ruthless pirate gangs clash. In order to survive, you will have to build a lethal fleet, prey upon lucrative trade routes, and ally with other pirates in your endless struggle for supremacy.

June 13th 2017:
Skull and Bones takes place in 1721, the Golden Age of Piracy (before Pirate Bay came along), allowing you to sail solo or form a gang of pirates with your friends and terrorise the trade routes in the Indian Ocean, ultimately becoming the ultimate pirate kingpin.
The gameplay video shows rival pirate gangs fighting in explosive naval combat, and in the third video, Chris Watters visits the development team at Ubisoft Singapore for a behind-the-scenes look at the game and what went into making its depiction of open world, multiplayer pirate life a reality.
Including a female captain, a cover version of Seal’s Crazy, long range mortars and cannons allowing you to blow other ships out of the water, it looks an immensely complex game with so much going on, the game evolves, so when you act, it reacts!
