UK Top 100 Music chart summary: w/e September 14th 2013

MU140913Going straight in at No.1 in the UK Top 100 Music Chart is Katy Perry with Roar and why has she got her make-up gun set on ‘whore’? She still looks like an unsexy blow-up doll. And the song’s pretty crap, too.

As such, Ellie Goulding drops to No.2 with Burn, and it’s not a bad dance track, but also far from outstanding.

There’s also a re-entry at No.39 for Starship‘s Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now, due to it being used in a current TV advert, the product for which I’ve forgotten.

Oh, and after holding back the release of their first single in their new guise, Mutya Keisha Siobhan flatline at No.50 with… Flatline.

Meanwhile, there are new entries in the Top 40 for:
