Birds Of Prey – Trailer 2 – Margot Robbie

Birds Of Prey Birds Of Prey now has a second trailer…

Last time, I thought it looked like it could be pretty good, but now, I’m wondering what the point of it is.

I definitely have fallen out of love with these endlessly pointless superhero films, but if it’s for you, the film is released on February 7th.

Check out the teaser below:

Birds Of Prey now has a full trailer.

The film looks like it could be pretty good (if DC actually have some idea of where their franchise is heading), and the film is due for release on February 7th 2020.

January 30th:

Birds Of Prey – or Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) to give it the full title – is DC Comics’ spin-off movie with Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn in which, after splitting up with the Joker, she joins three female superheroes – Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya – to save the life of a little girl (Cassandra Cain) from an evil crime lord.

And that’s all that’s known about this forthcoming film, plot-wise, although while I enjoyed Suicide Squad, it does feel like DC is being incredibly half-arsed about their films since while they clearly wanted to keep up with the juggernaut that is Marvel, they’ve started late and then fell behind further, releasing very sporadically from 2013’s Man of Steel up to last December’s Aquaman, and all feeling like they may as well not really bother if they’re looking to create a series of films.

Surely, Aquaman took a ton of cash, but what are they following up with? Soon, we’ve got Shazam!, which looks terrible, and then that’s it for 2019, since both this Harley film, as well as Wonder Woman 1984 aren’t due until 2020, and The Flash is pencilled in for 2021, by which time, Marvel will have put out about another 300 Avengers movies.

So far, we have this teaser, dubbed “See You Soon”, although I wouldn’t class “one year away” as “soon”.

Birds Of Prey is expected some time in 2020. Maybe.
