Christopher Lee Night on Horror Channel – July 2nd

christopher-lee-nightChristopher Lee Night is coming to The Horror Channel on July 2nd in the wake of the wonderful Christopher Lee‘s sad passing on Sunday being announced yesterday.

Lee made more incredible films in his lifetimei than you could shake a stick at and The Horror Channel are clearing their post-9pm schedules on Thursday 2nd July for a ‘Christopher Lee Night’ in tribute to the great actor and horror Icon’s recent death. The films to be screened are:

  • 9pm – The Devil Rides Out (1968)
  • 10.55pm – Dracula Prince Of Darkness (1966)
  • 12.45am – Scars Of Dracula (1970)
  • 2.35am – To The Devil A Daughter (1976)

Stewart Bridle, Horror Channel’s manager said today: “’We feel the movies chosen for the night represent some of his most iconic characters and performances during his time with Hammer Films and in the horror genre. Watching these you realise why he was so highly respected as a fantastic character actor who could both be a stoic hero and also a terrifying villain. He will be greatly missed but he lives on through his amazing legacy of movies”.

The Horror Channel is available on Sky (319), Virgin (149), Freesat (138) and Freeview (70).
