Patrick Troughton: Doctor Who Missing Episodes Marathon

Patrick Troughton‘s Doctor Who stories The Enemy of the World and The Web of Fear, are going to be screened together next Saturday, February 22nd. The catch? They’re only going to be played out at a public screening at the Prince Charles Cinema in London, in association with the BFI.

The stories, which were originally broadcast in 1967 and 1968, respectively, are being shown to mark the release of The Web of Fear on DVD and the screening will be followed by a discussion panel with key cast members.

Tickets for the Missing Episodes Marathon are on sale from 9am sale tomorrow from the Prince Charles Cinema website.

These 9 Patrick Troughton episodes, believed missing after the original tapes were wiped by the BBC, were found overseas by Television International Enterprises Archive director Phillip Morris, and you can see an interview with him below at the recent Doctor Who 50th Anniversary, on November 22nd, 2013:
