Forsaken heads with its two leads of son and father Kiefer Sutherland and Donald Sutherland sharing the screen in this brooding western about an embittered gunslinger who attempts to make amends with his estranged father whilst their community is besieged by ruthless land-grabbers.
John Henry Clayton (Kiefer) returns to his hometown in hopes of repairing his relationship with his Dad, Rev. Clayton (Donald), but a local gang is terrorizing the town. John is the only one who can stop them, however he has abandoned both his gun and reputation as a fearless quick-draw killer.
Also starring Demi Moore in the typical put-down-woman role, Michael Wincott in the typical evil baddie role, and Brian Cox in the typical Brit-attempting-piss-poor-American-accent role, I’ll watch this for the two leads but not a lot more.
Forsaken is released in the US on February 19th, but as of yet there’s no UK date.
