Stardust – Trailer 1 – David Bowie biopic – Johnny Flynn

Stardust Stardust is a forthcoming movie which is set to chronicle the young David Bowie’s first visit to the US in 1971, a trip which inspired the invention of his iconic alter ego Ziggy Stardust, and a character who he killed off after just a year.

David Bowie was an iconic singer, with some interesting acting roles in films such as Absolute Beginners. However, Johnny Flynn is hardly a great actor, and he neither looks nor sounds like Bowie. Often, his film Beast gets mentioned, but seems to be one of those films that was a hit in the hands of big-name critics, but not from any real people.

Also, this is an unofficial biopic of the great man, so there’s none of David Bowie’s music in this film! In fact, it looks a complete travesty and a potential for the worst film of 2021!

Stardust is directed by Gabriel Range, and also stars Jena Malone (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2) and Marc Maron (Joker).

Stardust hasn’t yet got a release date, but I would expect some time in 2021.
