UK Top 100 Music chart summary & my views w/e September 6th 2014

September 6th 2014Going straight in at No.1, in the UK Top 100 Music Chart w/e September 6th 2014, is Lilly Wood and Robin Schulz with Prayer In C and it’s okay, but nothing to get excited about. Certainly something that would sound better when in a club and you’re pissed, so who’s buying it at home?

Interestingly (or not), the track is billed to “Lilly Wood & The Prick and Robin Schulz”. But I guess Radio 1 wouldn’t say “The Prick”, even if they hire enough of them.

As such, David Guetta feat. Sam Martin with Lovers On The Sun drops to No.3, and it’s rather soulless. Definitely not worthy of a top track.

There’s just one other new entry in the Top 10 – Maroon 5 at No.2 with Maps.
