My BRUTALLY HONEST REVIEW of I WANT YOUR SEX!

I Want Your SexI Want Your Sex

I Want Your Sex… no, not yours… you smell like cooties…

But about this film, it opens with Elliot Bell (Cooper HoffmanThe Long Walk) waking up at Erika Tracey’s (Olivia WildeThe Invite) plush abode, with her face down in the pool, seemingly dead. Then goes back “9½ weeks”…

The young lad tells the whole story through a police interview with cops, played by Johnny Knoxville (Jackass: Best And Last) and Margaret Cho (Over The Moon), about how he’s inadvertently entered into a BDSM relationship with his relatively-new employer, partly because she’s forced himself upon him, and he’s getting nothing from his girlfriend, Minerva (Charli XCXThe Moment).

Still, I preferred his East Asian flatmate, Apple (Chase Sui WondersI Know What You Did Last Summer (2025)), anyway.

But for Elliot’s apparent plight, it begins when Erika asks him back to her house – during the day – to move a picture, and slowly, starts grooming him, before getting him to crawl on the floor towards her…

Additionally, in a rarity, a modern-day movie actually features FEMALE toplessness! At 42, DAMN, Olivia Wilde’s got it going on!

I Want Your Sex is pretty entertaining for the most part, but really silly. At least it’s brief at just 90 minutes, though.

However, for the two old women in the audience, about 2 rows behind me, they left after 25 mins, when the first ‘bum dildo’ was brought out, for Erika to use on Elliot. It seems that was a reacharound too far…

I Want Your Sex

I Want Your Sex… with a stranger?

Meanwhile, frequently, in an almost empty room, I find someone booking their seat(s) RIGHT NEXT TO ME, but either never turning up, or going towards the back section of the room – so they’re paying for a cheap seat in some cases, but then sitting in the more expensive seats.

Sometimes, I prefer seats nearer the front which are like this (I was in row C, having booked the left of the two seats now taken), depending on the screen, but if you’re going to sit somewhere else anyway, why the fuck are you positioning yourself right next to someone else, as opposed to in a front corner, so it’s out of the way?

Why add in such fucking unnecessary anxiety?

And this was for I Want Your Sex! A VERY odd choice to do that!

I certainly don’t want YOUR sex!

On a few occasions, there HAS been someone taking that seat. The other day, I saw One Night Only. There were two seats inbetween me and a couple on my right. By the time the screening time came round, I saw someone had booked right next to me, even though there’s PLENTY of other seats around.

That person wasn’t there when I came into the room, but by the time I’d gone to pay a visit and come back, the bloke was there. I went back towards my seat, grabbed my bag and moved one row forward. Why the fuck would you want to invade someone’s space like that? Something going on upstairs that needs fixing??

NOTE: There are no mid- nor post-credits scenes.

I Want Your Sex is in cinemas now, and is available to pre-order on Blu-ray.
