My BRUTALLY HONEST REVIEW of LITTLE BROTHER on NETFLIX!

Little Brother Little Brother is a bit like ’80s comedy Twins, except that the two leads were never actually related, but you’ll get the idea about this mismatch comedy, where Rudd Landy (John CenaHeads Of State) is taking part in a cheesy reality show about real estate agents, NYC Hustlers, although he’s about to be revisited by someone from his past.

That man is Marcus Pinchel (Eric AndréDisenchantment) who, because reasons, wants to reconnect through Landy, who he met through the Big Brother program as a kid, even though they haven’t spoken in 30 years, and they hung out only a handful of times back in the day.

Rudd has a real brother, though, in the form of Josh (Christopher MeloniIF), and since he’s older, he’s always played oneupmanship in their lives.

John Cena does ‘Devo’ in Ricky Stanicky

Next day, he gets a call that his brother’s in hospital following a car accident, but it’s actually Marcus having broken out of his institution, and looking for Rudd, on the basis that someone was replying to all of his emails, but AS Rudd, thus causing plenty of confusion and embarrassing moments when everyone meets up.

On the plus side, John Cena does deadpan very well (as was also shown with the Devo scene in Ricky Stanicky, above), and there’s good support from Michelle Monaghan (Mission Impossible: Fallout) as wife Deirdre, and Sherry Cola (Joy Ride) as Rudd’s assistant, Mia, but while Little Brother won’t win any awards, it is a reasonable diversion for 90 minutes or so.

On the downside, unfortunately, there is some stupid crude humour, such as when Marcus is stuck in Rudd’s car, needs to pay a visit and ends up trying to wee out the window… and not very successfully!

There’s also additional content during the credits. I’ll put it behind a spoiler header, but still keep it spoiler-free.
