I read in The Mirror‘s excellent technology section, “Kelly’s I”,written by Matt Kelly (hi, Matt!) that one of the best and mostinformative channels on SkyDigital – [.tv], channel 567, is due to closeon September 2nd.
I really hope this doesn’t happen as I enjoyed the channel, particularlyBuyer’s Guide, Game Over and anything fronted by Kate Russell,and although I always intended to make the switch from analogue to digitalSky at some point, when I heard it was due to finish on analogue Sky inApril 2000 I switched over two months before.

Recently we ran a competition to win a copy of this boxset but there was someconfusion at this end as to whether one or two boxsets were up for grabs. Born in Mexico and raised in Los Angeles, Quinn died of respiratory failure.He leaves 12 children.”

Better late than never, but the news is that this console is finally to seethe light of day in the US on November 8th, 2001, for the princely sum of$299 (expect a dollar-pound conversion when it’s released here), but there’sno news yet of a European release date.
