My BRUTALLY HONEST REVIEW of OASIS on NETFLIX!

Oasis Oasis isn’t about the feuding Gallagher siblings, but a Spanish drama set at the Oasis Infinity resort, as a wealthy family arrive, but it’s mostly about the teenagers getting together, drinking a lot, copping off with each other, and events kicking off every so often.

But there’s not much to get excited about, unless you like watching young men sit about the pool, with their washboard chests on full display… funny how the women never reciprocate.

The teenagers have a game of Truth Or Dare, someone sells them some drugs… SHOCK HORROR!, and every now and again they break for a tune and some pointless filler, such as underwater snorkelling. Yes, even more happens in the original Beverly Hills 90210 series.

It’s also stacked with cliches, such as one teen downloading important data from the authorities’ PC to their own USB stick, all of which has to count up to 100% before they get spotted.

Maybe you’ll enjoy this sort of “rich kids’ problems”, but for me, I can feel my brain cells disappaering one by one. Even when someone is attacked by swimming pool, early on, I couldn’t care less whether or not they survive.

And it’s difficult to work out who’s who in the cast, because they’re all (to me) complete unknowns, and neither this programme nor IMDB has a proper cast list with all their character names linked.

Thanks to our friends at Netflix for the screener prior to release.

Oasis is on Netflix from tomorrow.

It’s not yet available to pre-order on Blu-ray or DVD, but when it is, it will be listed on the New DVD, Blu-ray, 3D and 4K releases UK page.
